This was our second time visiting. We stayed in the Green Room again. We love the property and the location is great. Kevin made amazing breakfasts and engaged us in even more interesting conversation. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Saltus River Grill and evening walk along the waterfront. We also had great cocktails at Wren, which we plan to have dinner at during our next visit. We look forward to our next stay at Kevin's B&B!

Spent two wonderful nights there and were treated royally. Nice quite room and good bathroom. The breakfast was very good too. Maybe a little further from the center of the old district but still what's a couple more blocks. Enjoy and stay there.

We loved the North Street Inn. It’s a lovely, turn-of-the-century, mansion with a very warm atmosphere in the historic part of town. Kevin is a great host, who made us feel very welcome. We spent two nights at the inn, and both days Kevin prepared us a delicious breakfast; the first morning spinach quiche and freshly baked blueberry muffins, the second morning bacon and waffles with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream. The North Street Inn is only one block from a beautiful bay and a short walk to historic downtown. It’s affordable, and definitely worth its $125.00 a night (taxes included). We would absolutely stay here again on our next vist to Beaufort.

Although the inn needs major painting on the white trim don't let that turn you off. Kevin our host was extremely welcoming and is a fine breakfast chef. We had nice hot coffee and freshly made blueberry muffins and quiche. Fluffy towels and a comfortable queen size bed in the green room. We parked the car and walked every where in town. Beaufort is quaint. Be sure to visit the marine museum on Parris Island.

There are a lot of great bed & breakfasts and other places to sleep in the charming town of Beaufort, and the North Street Inn is no exception to that. Moreover, it is one of the more affordable of them ($125 for a single night in May, taxes included!). The Inn is a block away from Bay Street, so it doesn't overlook the beautiful Beaufort Bay, but that's only a minor deterrent. We reserved online so that was easy enough, and we paid upon checking in. We never did receive a confirmation of our reservation, however, but they were expecting us when we arrived, so that turned out nice. There are four rooms for rent. We went with the 'Yellow Room', featuring a queen bed, which suited us fine. The room came with a (fairly large and very clean) private bathroom, a sofa next to the fireplace (no idea if it works), a small tv set and plenty of books to read. The North Street Inn is run by Kevin, who will meet you when you arrive and who's a great guy to chat with. He lives on the premises, so he's always there to help you. The Inn is housed in a beautifully maintained Victorian mansion; you can relax in the parlor or on the front porch. Temperatures inside are really enjoyable thanks to the airconditioning and the Inn is within easy walking distance from everything in the Historic Downtown District of Beaufort. In the morning, Kevin will prepare you a freshly made breakfast. This is a perfect place to stay: affordable, clean, great personal atmosphere and close to everything.
