My wife and I and three other couples enjoyed a most pleasant evening celebrating several birthdays and years of friendship. We had appetizers of seafood stuffed mushroom caps topped with lobster, escargot, and frog legs.. Everybody enjoyed their appetizers. The mushroom caps are tremendous. The salad with house French dressing was cold and crisp and everyone loved the dressing. Entrees consisted of chicken Marsala, filet, veal meringo, and the duck.. The sides of Boulanger potatoes, beets, and string beans are all excellent.. The entrees are tremendous, all served hot and visually appealing. Everyone truly enjoyed their meal. The wine list is extensive. The desserts excellent.. We had creme de menthe parfait and lava cake.. An intimate setting and pleasant pace to the evening. We unanimously agreed to start celebrating monthly birthdays at Moulin Rouge!

Superb French dining. Seafood stuffed mushrooms, salad with the clear french dressing was delicous. Scallop casserole prepared deliciously along with the veal franchise topped with lobster. Dinner came with salad, potatoes, specially seasoned green beans & lemon Butter carrots.Lava cake was excellent. All complete with our own little I fell tower lit with a candle.

This place is not stuffy and has great food. Yes, you pay a little more but you get 100% quality and a lot of food.
The duck is what I usually get and want to try so many other things but I am stuck on the duck. I have never had duck cooked as perfect as they do it.
Taking my brother on Sunday as he has never been and I know he will love it. You have to tell them when you make the reservation that you want duck and I assume it is because of the perfect preparation.
Just try it and I know you won't be sorry!!!!!

Have been to this restaurant at least twice a year for many years. Definitely Fine dining.atmosphere is quiet, romantic not really suitable for children. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The service was perfect. Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. Explaining different questions that we had about specials and drinks. Our friends had the Duck Flambe' and said it was out of this world, the best they have had. I ordered the Veal Oscar, which is my favorite. It was fantastic. My husband had the special which was Surf and Turf. Prime Rib cooked perfectly and 2 large stuffed shrimp. He was impressed with the amount of food and couldn't stop raving about it. The side dishes were very good. No room for desert, but the deserts we saw at another table looked good. This restaurant is a great place for an exquisite meal.

Have dined at this restaurant over the years for many special occasions. Always enjoy the food no matter what I order. House-like atmosphere, small rooms, knotty pine walls, pictures & decor of Paris. Prime rib so tasty, but not available 10/22 as restaurant closing for 1 week vacation. The filet mignon was a good second choice though. Others at the table ordered scallops, baked cod, & swordfish-all enjoyed. Waitstaff always checking on their patrons-water glasses never left empty. Very enjoyable evening with friends & my 90 year old relative.
