Came here after being referred by a colleague and so glad we did! My first impression after a musty smell upon entering on a humid day, and people in their 40s being among the “younger crowd” was to not expect much... lesson learned to never judge a book by it’s cover. Jessica was our waiter and she did not miss a beat! She was attentive, accommodating and helpful. The fact that the owners are the chefs means each meal is made to represent and we were not disappointed!! Our table ordered cheese ravioli and Eggplant Parmesan, both were delicious! Furthermore, we asked for penne w/ vodka sauce but because we’re vegetarian and their sauce typically has chicken broth, the chef made a separate vegetarian pink sauce, which was incredibly flavorful (again, much to our pleasant surprise). The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 star is because we didn’t learn about the early bird special until after we had paid and it would have been nice to learn about it before we ordered since it was our first time there. The menu stated that it was from 3-6pm Sun-Thursday but apparently it runs all summer regardless of time: $12.99 for soup/salad & entree w/pasta side & ice Cream/tea/coffee! Great food at a great price with great service.. can’t beat that! Hoping to return for another equally great experience!
