Garden Grille is always packed (and if it's cold outside, there really isn't any place to wait), the environment is not especially comfortable (some seats are subject to drafts from the constantly opening and closing door), it can be a little loud, and the service can be a little slow (both due, no doubt, to it always being packed). BUT, since it has really good vegetarian food and a good-enough wine/beer/cocktail list, I suggest you overlook the aforementioned annoyances and try it. Pretty much everything on the menu is good, but the butternut squash and black bean quesadilla was outstanding (and enough for lunch the next day, too). And maybe, if you go at an off-peak time, you can just enjoy the great food and not have to deal with the minor annoyances.
