This walk along the ocean is gorgeous and even more beautiful and peaceful than the Cliff Walk. There are many scenic overlooks and places to sit and look out over the ocean. The beach roses are so fragrant and there are other beautiful wildflowers growing along the shore. If I lived nearby this would be my daily walk.

The 2.5 mile walk is easy and beautiful. The roses were blooming. the trail is well-maintained, and one could even push a wheelchair for most of the trail.

This state park has several miles of trails (all easy) around a point overlooking the ocean and Sakonnet River. Various overlooks and opportunities for just sitting watching the waves and listening to the ocean. Somewhat small parking lot that can fill on weekends.

We look for different walks to do in the Winter Season and wish the closure of this refuge was better communicated on the web site, which we visited before heading there. It was still a nice walk on the beach in the direction that was not closed.

Was educational and fun as well as beautiful. Our family really enjoyed finding different animals in the inside display plus walking along the paths outside.
