The Brady Cottage is available for weekly rentals during the summer. We rented the unit to attend a nearby family reunion in Little Compton. The cottage is self-catering, so while breakfast is not included in the $995/wk rate, it can be provided at an additional cost.

The cottage is cute, romantic and charming. There is a master bedroom with Queen bed, a living room with a sleep-sofa, flat-screen cable TV, and small dining table, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a bath with stand-up shower. There is central a/c throughout but windows and doors can all be opened for a nice cross-breeze. Outside there is a table with seating for four and a gas grill. Also outside is an additional shower.

Our hostess Sheila explained that different parts of the cottage have been periodically upgraded. The bath is up-to-date and very clean with a good supply of towels. The window treatments in the bedroom and living room are recently updated but the mattress on the bed in the master bedroom sags toward the middle and needs to be replaced. The kitchen has not been updated, but we were able to prepare breakfast and reheat leftovers. There is no dishwasher and the coffee maker had to be cleaned of the previous user's grounds before we could use it. The refrigerator is full-sized. The sink is small and not particularly functional as hot and cold spigots are separate.

The cottage is a fair distance from the farm house, so it has its own separate driveway. The rural setting is enticing. Several cows, including a very young calf appear directly behind the cottage from time to time during the day. Also on the farm are chickens, a dozen recently hatched baby wild turkeys, goats, sheep, a donkey and a horse. The family dog, Shamu, came by a couple of times to "check us out".

While families do rent the cottage, I think it would be rather cramped with more than two people staying there. For my wife and I however, the size was perfect and we enjoyed our stay. I would have given the property Tripadvisor's highest rating had it not been for the saggy bed.

Have yet to complete our visit and impressed enough to write an early review. Sheila is warm, welcoming and offers lots of knowledge of what the area has to offer. Impeccable notice to detail for a relaxing stay. Beach is close enough for a quick bike ride.

Harmony Home was charming. We stayed in the private entrance room off the main house. It's a pretty old farm house, and the room, while hardly fancy, fits the theme. Sheila is a warm and friendly host with great local recommendations. Here breakfasts were very good, especially the fresh baked pastries and fresh cut fruit cups.

This is located in the heart of Little Compton, with the beach and the town commons easily accessible. (Great scenic bike riding). The town is full of history and charm. The people are friendly and authentic. And the land and coast are beautiful.

If you're looking for an action packed vacation, Little Compton is not for you. But if you want to relax and fade into a quiet and beautiful corner of New England, this is a great place to do it.

I also loved that the room had some local history books that gave me a chance to learn the interesting background on the town, dating back hundreds of years.

The Harmony Home B&B is quite possibly heaven on earth. From the sheer beauty of the property; to the charm, comfort, and coziness of the cottage; to the most incredible, attentive, thoughtful owner; to the intangible amenities (like the outdoor shower, the views), a stay here is the perfect place to renew, reenergize, relax, and reconnect. It is the most perfect place to stay in all of Rhode Island. The cottage is a place you will want to return to again and again. That is, if you can pull yourself away from it.

Charming B&B, great location for exploring the area. Owner is very friendly and accomodating. For instance, she made us eggs & bacon for breakfast since we were kayaking and she thought we might get hungry - how nice!

Simple, pretty - perfect for a nice getaway.
