The grounds are gorgeous,with lots of comfortable places to sit with your coffee. Inside, the 18th century building is warm and cozy.
The coffee is on the acidic side, but very good. Fancy drinks are carefully prepared and the scones are excellent - not too sweet. The service is friendly and fast.
You might miss it coming in on Route 1, South. The giveaway is a bunch of cars parked just off the breakdown lane. If you continue to the "OPEN" sign, there's a hidden driveway going up to good-sized parking lot.
The bathroom is a little funky...
