ate there last Friday, very stylish, quality ingredients, good service. nice solid upscale Italian cuisine. only complaint - the noise level (really from the patrons) was outrageous. mostly an older clientele, not raucous but just ridiculously high to the point that our ears hurt leaving the restaurant. not a reason to avoid, and it seems that the management is cognizant of the noise issue (fabric panels placed in the ceiling) but the combination of glass walls, marble tables, tile floors, and low ceiling amplify the background noise enormously. wasn't the staff or open kitchen creating the noise, it was the patrons

We love it here. It is consistently delicious - whether you are just getting a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp or a fish dish or the pasta - it is all very good. Plus, they have gluten-free pasta (although they note there could be cross contamination of flour in the kitchen) for folks who can't eat gluten. It's nice to eat out on the patio, too, in nice weather. The staff is terrific, too. You can't go wrong here!

A friend and I had dinner at Arugula a few weeks ago. From beginning to end, our waiter, Adi, clearly expressed that he had NO interest in servicing us. (1) He couldn't look at us while he told us about the specials. (2) When we said we were ready to order our appetizers, he was visibly annoyed and commented that you're not supposed to order the appetizer before the meal, "but whatever; if that's what you want to do, whatever." (3) When we were ready to order, I asked about the branzino, and he said it was very flavorful. Wrong - that was the most bland fish I have ever eaten. (4) He never checked on us. (5) He brought us our bill (after we were forced to hail him over), and when we weren't ready after a few minutes, he didn't do what most waiters do ("no problem; take your time!") but instead KEPT CHECKING ON US LITERALLY EVERY 2-3 MINUTES. I purposefully didn't have the check ready for quite some time after that.

Other than Adi and the branzino, we had a good experience. The appetizers (calamari and funghi) were delicious, and the desserts were fantastic.

Parking was a breeze. The other waiters that came by to check on us, serve and remove plates, etc. were perfect.

We stopped by Arugula recently on a busy Sunday Night. When our waiter approached our table to take our order, he never told us the list of specials available so we ordered directly from the menu. However we noticed him reciting table after table all the specials. When we questioned him, he said we didn't ask. Was that our responsibility to ask if there were specials? We didn't think so. He never came back to see how our meal was until we wanted our check. Also I ordered the capellini with crabmeat and tomatoes. It looked great but sadly had no flavor. I asked for some "red sauce" to add to it and my entree was better,
