Our meal at Gibraltar Grille was the highlight of meals we have had in Lancaster. Service was spot on and our dinner was delicious. My husband had the shrimp cocktail and lobster fettuccine. He found the shrimp fresh and cold. The lobster fettuccine was so good he was tempted to lick the bowl clean. I ordered the yellow fin tuna tartare and the seared scallops. Presentation of the tuna tartare was lovely and one of the best I've ever had. It reminded me of the poke I had in Maui but so much better. My scallops were cooked to perfection and the sides that accompanied it were perfectly balanced to enhance the flavor of the scallops. What a wonderful meal from beginning to end and our waiter was such an added bonus. He was attentive but not hovering. I'm disappointed not to be able to enjoy another meal there as we leave for home tomorrow.

This was our first time at Gibraltar and the meal was delicious. The baby greens salad and the shrimp and grits were very good. The complimentary limoncello after dinner was a nice touch!

We dined at Gibraltar with some trepidation, because we had heard it just wasn't the same after opening at this current location. They had to vacate their former location because F&M College wanted the space back.

The location and exterior of the building do not convey upscale restaurant, but as soon as we entered, we could see that the interior was transformed to create an opulent atmosphere. It has more of an industrial feel than the warm, Tuscany feel of the former location.

The food was excellent! The Caesar salad with white anchovies was tasty. Several members of our party had the oysters from the raw bar and loved them. The herb rubbed King Salmon had a large portion of salmon, and the champagne sauce was to die for. The Tuna Tataki was the best tuna ever! Although the portion was on the small side. The filet mignon was exceptionally tender, although the whipped potatoes were somewhat lumpy. The sea scallops were large and done to perfection.

Gibraltar did what they have always done well. Their presentation was 10 star plus!

Service was excellent. She didn't hover, but knew exactly when she was needed. She kept the bottle of wine chilled off table, yet was always there to refill our glasses at just the right time. She packaged the doggie bags and delivered them with the check, so they didn't clutter the table while we ate dessert. Her attention to detail made for an enjoyable meal.

Service was slow, which we attributed to the kitchen, but we didn't mind since our large party had so much to talk about. However, I hope that slow service is not the norm.

We ate dinner here for the first time and were so glad we did!! The food was probably one of the best meals I ever had. The menu selection was great and they even give you a bistro menu if you want a smaller portion. The food and service were both outstanding. When I come back to Lancaster, I will definitely go back again!!

Was surprised to find a very attractive interior decor for this shopping center restaurant; lovely hostess (owner), very attentive service, lots of menu choices well presented and appetizing, interesting desserts.
