Description: The first thing you notice when pulling in the entrance of the Heritage Hotel parking lot is the incredibly unique addition to this Lancaster landmark. To call it a deck or a patio doesn't do this two-story structure justice. Imagine dining in the most impressive tree house ever built. The open layout and the use of the natural environment give a feeling of submersion in nature, a theme that is consistent throughout Loxley's. The inside of the restaurant is unlike anything that has ever been seen in Central Pennsylvania. The massive bar is encrusted with arrowheads and surrounds a tree growing through the center of the room. Ambient lighting on the natural wood walls adds to the feeling of natural splendor. It is the epitome of the dining "experience", mixing Heritage Hill's well-known culinary expertise and exceptional service with ambiance that will leave everyone amazed.

We had a snack and a few drinks here while staying overnight in the main hotel, a wedding reception was going on at the same time, but the staff coped well with it all, neat restaurant style with a good menu, bar area is average size of from the main eating area and could do with some tlc.

We stopped here on a Saturday night with a friend visiting from out of town. We loved it! We live very close and have been meaning to try it out. I am so glad we did!

My husband had a Cuban and my friend and I both ordered beef tips. Everything was delicious! Our server was so friendly! She made us feel right at home.

They make a great mojito, and have a good selection of wine. After dinner we went to the upstairs bar. It was like having drinks in a treehouse! The bartenders were so friendly. I would happily make this a regular spot!

Fish and Chips. Crab dip. Drinks. Cesar Salad with grilled Salmon. Onion soup. Pulled pork sandwich. Loved it all. Annie was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Ask for a pro. Ask for Annie. The dining experience is always better with a professional server. Thanks Annie!

My wife and I were invited to a free lunch by a financial advisor at this lovely restaurant. We both had the salmon platter that was wonderful. The salmon had just the right amount of seasoning, was moist, and grilled to perfection. It rivaled the salmon we often eat in Ireland. The chef added mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables to this large plate with the fish. Wow, were the potatoes just perfect-real mashed red potatoes with butter and spices..

Our service was excellent and the setting for the luncheon was very cozy. We plan on returning to this great restaurant for dinner in the near future.

We recently met with friends coming in from out of town and wanted to experience something different for them. So we decided to meet at Loxley's because of the treehouse atmosphere and thought that would be something unique.
We made reservations for the outside dining for the 15 of us. Meanwhile, once we all arrived, we were told that there was no availability for the outside and that we would have to eat inside.
Secondly, our waitress, screwed up our drink orders and we had to wait a very long time before she took our meal order. From the time the first order came out till the last person received their meal was a 30 minute span. Meanwhile, I had asked the waitress initially if the kids (we had 4 toddlers) if they could get their meals first. Needless to say that didn't happen either. Between the poor service, the meals coming out slowly, and the food was just fair. I don't think I would ever come back nor recommend this restaurant again.
