Great location, close to Young center but far enough out to be quite. Stayed in a room with a Queen and single, generous space like Motor Inns ust to be and all the basic amenities you'd need. Bathroom that works and old school shower that can cope with tall people. Neat and clean with lots of room.
Staff were really helpful but the hidden gem was the attached restaurant which had a great old school favorites of mains i.e steaks, pasta, chicken etc generous serves clean and unpretentious atmosphere. Staff were friendly and genuine and treated like a person rather the the fake familiarity big city places attempt. Had the the seasonal Lamb Shanks and the sticky date pudding. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and great service. Good local wine and a complete range of standard domestic beers and liqueur available.
Price range reasonable and in keeping with TA rates while not being over the top for a genuine visitor to Young. Yes there are plenty of other places that are cheaper to eat in Young but this one was such a surprise when you dont expect much on a Wednesday night stop over.
Will definitely stay again if here for a another work trip and would considering bringing the family for a weekend if staying for the Cheery festival in December.

Greatest little find in a long time. Heading west and looking for accommodation. Booked into hilltops retreat and it was sooo good. Management and staff couldn't do more for us. Room was very nice clean comfy bed and the resturant was excellent. We both had the lobster and sticky date pud. Yummy. Definetly put this one on our stay again list

Room tip: Quiet. Good parking

A top a little hill, with beautiful views of the sunset, this motel was a surprisingly pleasant and enjoyable stay.
We had great spacious clean rooms with sufficient heating and amenities.
We asked about a microwave and one was brought to our room :)
It's a quiet spot with a friendly manager and also an onsite restaurant for three meals a day.
This place is even more perfect if you like animals, they are close by and able to be petted and fed.
Great stay - would come back!

We often stop in Young on our way to the Blue Mountains. This time we thought we would try a different motel to stay. We called and the owner offered us a good deal. Very friendly owners , lovely spacious and very clean room. We dined in the restaurant 'Elevation'. Although the food was very nice it was very expensive. Desserts were reasonable all at $8 each, but the mains were very overpriced. I don't think we would dine in again, I think we would drive into town, but will def stay at the motel again. Breakfast was average and delivered to the room. The only downfall was the internet was not so good, however the owner did explain he was getting it fixed, so hopefully next time round that will be better. Overall a lovely stay! Thank you, Pierre!

Room tip: No traffic noise, just the birds to wake you up!

This Motor Inn is on the highway however it is set far enough away from the road that noise is not an issue. It is clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful and in addition they have a lovely restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast the next morning. I would certainly stay here again.

Room tip: Rooms to the back are obviously quieter but I think all rooms would be fine.
