Had the beef madras , lamb rogan ghosh. LG rice, butter naan and a Keemah naan. $57 all takeaway. Ready on time and my husband said the best keemah naan he has ever had. That’s where the good ended. Both curry’s were just beef or lamb with a different coloured gravy. Both very mild and devoid of any vegetables. I think the sauce went through a blender with the vegetables in it.
Not worth the additional price point. Stay away. If you want something authentic and spicy try “Mod Thai in Stockton st. I know it’s Thai but was delicious a couple of days earlier and $20 cheaper.

Hello sir the curries you ordered are meant to be mild to medium. You should have ordered it spicy if you wanted it hot. Also curries does not come with vegetables. And mod Thai does not serve lamb as lamb prices are over the roof. If you want genuine Lamb you have to pay the price unless you want to have something cheaper. Thanks anyway for the feedback.

Family of 4 went to dinner last Saturday night. Given it's holiday time, we made a booking. We have been here a few times on our annual pilgrimage to Port Stephens and always enjoyed a pleasant meal. It's quite a large restaurant, up 2 flights of stairs. So people less mobile, may have difficulty. It has carpeted flooring - always good to absorb noise, and tables spaced a reasonable distance apart. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer BYO. Such a shame, particularly when dining with extended family. We ordered from their extensive menu - samosa - a half serve $4.95, onion bhaji $8.50, butter chicken $19.95, panjum fish curry $20.95, cheese kofta $17.95, large rice $5.95, roti $3.50, peshwari naan $5.50 and two garlic naan $4.50 each. The courteous staff brought our meal fairly quickly. We enjoyed quite a tasty, fresh meal with a little leftover. On previous occasions, we have ordered the biryani which is delicious. All in all I would rate this restaurant 7/10 for a pleasant Indian meal.

A thoroughly enjoyable meal. The tandoori lamb cutlets and chicken wings were both generously sized entrees and delicious. Our main of malai kofta was one of the most flavoursome vegetarian dishes I've ever had. The service was faultless. My son left his hat behind and it was delivered to his head before we got to the car! Can't ask for more.

The food here was nice but the service was extremely slow and and orders were muddled up. Had to go and ask for our ice cream to be served as part of our banquet and then it still took a further 25 minutes!
