Stopped here on a couple of occasions. Large grassed area to walk the dogs, plenty of parking and room for those towing caravans/trailers, and enjoyed the food provided by Olivers. Also good information centre.

We loved Iluka. Stayed on the water and access to launch canoe and kayaks was incredibly easy. Lots of fish around but not so for us. Rode bikes everywhere and is very flat and bike friendly. Very quiet but people friendly and welcoming.

You would think Iluka would be busy being near Yamba .... It really really isn't although I am sure it has it's moments . I like the place . It is welcoming and it is beautiful . The River frontage and the Sea Front are absolutely wonderful . The first time I went I wanted to get there that much I drove through the floodwaters ....DON'T . I was lucky . Iluka is cool , not only 'cause my friend lives there , it just is x
