I’ve been here 3 or 4 times in the last month or so, and their sandwiches are great quality. They also offer a range of hot and cold savoury items such as mini pizza baguettes and scotch eggs. There is also a decent pantry area with alcohol and premium pastas, sauces and condiments etc. The only downside is that on every occasion I’ve been there I’m left feeling as though the staff are particularly/noticeably unfriendly. There’s no real spirit of friendliness or even a sniff of jovial chitchat at any point. It’s a strange tension that I’ve noticed every time I’ve been there and it strikes me as a little odd. Not enough to put me off as the service itself is relatively efficient, but always leaves me wondering what it’d take for a smile and a warm welcome.
