Perfect place for dining in greater Manchester - brilliant food with great service and atmosphere. You know what you're getting here it always delivers. Relaxed atmosphere in the brasserie and restaurant just had a makeover. Really a wonderful gem.

A great evening of food and wine on the big round table. Great service too from the smartly dressed waitresses. The menu had plenty of choice, mainly fancy stuff but some great meats and fish dishes. Will go again soon.

I've visited this tastefully refurbished and extended Pub / Restaurant on a few occasions.
Located in a ' Preservation area' bordering with Mossley and Saddleworth, there are stunning views and some interesting architecture.
Everything from the car park to beer mats has been thought about carefully, making it a great place to dine and stay the night.
The food is second to none and you would find it hard to find better anywhere.
On the down side it's a little pricey but not over the top for such quality.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear have fantastic views

Came fora friend's wedding. Have been many times before and thought it was great. This time was terrible. Specially asked for a room for 3 but not a put me me up bed as our daughter id14. You guessed it we got exactly what we had been assured we wouldn't get. When we asked to check in early a Friday for a wedding starting at 2 we were told check in was 2! No manager available. Great view of bins and noisey smoking staff from a very 1970s room.obnoxious and untrained manager
Avoid like the plague.

We stayed one night because we had been invited to a Friday wedding reception here. We were able to leave our bags in our room early before attending the wedding service which was good news. The room we had was really chic and modern. The bed was comfortable. A wide range of drinks were available and freshly baked biscuits on the tray in the room. A treat to stay here at The White Hart. Breakfast was cosy in the bar lounge.
