The service was friendly but very slow here, especially for lunch time mid-week when they weren't that busy.
The food was ok, but portion was a bit light on my cheesesteak - more bun than meat.
Overall, not terrible, but with the abundance of choices around, I won't be rushing back here.

We were working in the PA Archives and needed a nearby place for a quick lunch. Aleco's Cafe is right across the street from the archives, new, and clean. We only had standard lunch items, but everything was tasty, fresh and very reasonable in price. Service was fast and friendly. All in all - a fine place for lunch.

I have eaten at aleco's about once or twice a week for the past few years. The service is always fast and friendly. They treat you like family here and I will continue to visit over and over again.
Along with an already great and large selection of food, they offer daily specials that are always delicious. They offer catering and 3 foot subs. You can also book a party or gathering here in there spacious new location.
I personally am a fan of there gigantic salads and subs that will feed you for multiple meals. If it's not on the menu and your craving something just ask and if they have it available they will make it.
Aleco's is great for sit down and take out. Give them 10 mins and they can have anything on the menu ready for pick up. This is a great local spot that is perfect for lunch, dinner and late night on the weekends until 3am!
Stop in and try it. I'm sure you'll be greeted by the staff like family who are always haven't a good time and playing music.
