We had a wonderful steak dinner at the Glass Lounge. The food was excellent the portions were outstanding the wait staff was very helpful. The bill was $90 for two people but brought home lots of leftovers of really good food...
It is not elegant but it was definitely worth the trip

Had lunch here with a group of coworkers. The location isn’t fancy, but if you’re looking for good food at a reasonable price-this is the spot.
Located along the river, there is a nice outdoor patio area for good weather with views of the river. Known for their steaks, portions are huge and quality is good for a fair price.

Stopped in here during a recent swing through Harrisburg, this is like a local legend for steaks and seafood. The ambiance is like a neighborhood bar with an attached restaurant. We found it to be quaint and comfortable. The menu is all about beef and seafood. Lots of steak options to choose from in sizes from petite to humongous. For seafood, there are fried or broiled options plus crab cakes which appear to be a house special. For entrees we chose: the 24 oz Delmonico and the fried seafood platter. Entrees come with 2 sides, we opted for the salads and baked potatoes. The salads are really good size and are topped with lots of julienne carrots which were tasty. I added the onions and mushrooms to the steak and when it arrived it looked like it could feed an entire family. It was slightly undercooked (more med rare than med) but I’d prefer that to over cooked. The beef quality for the price is very good. The taste with the topped onions and mushrooms was great. The seafood platter was also good, really nice sized shrimp, large fish fillet snd some sea scallops. The baked potatoes are also very big. Service was great. If you are looking for good value, bring your big appetite to the Glass Lounge.

I'm shocked that this place is rated #1 steakhouse in Harrisburg..... We live relatively close to this place. After hearing all the buzz about the awesome steak "as big as your plate" we had to try it.
Ambience------ Noisy, cafeteria style dining in a place that could use a ton of cleaning, and renovation.
Price------reasonable compared to others in area.
Food---- we got the "big as your plate" steak many have raved about... Not good. Large, yes, extremely thin, yes. Not just poorly prepared, but poor right from the source, I guarantee.
Want a great steak, in Harrisburg, spend a few $ more, and Visit 1700*, or the Firehouse. Want a poor steak, just because its "as big as your plate" go here, and try to force it down.
Bigger is not always better.

This place doesn't look that inviting from the outside but local recommendation said the food was excellent. We are here twice, the first time I had a burger and it was very good but the Delmonico steak I had on my second visit was average and the fries were barely warm. So a very mixed experience but I'd still recommend it.
