Beautiful, well kept log cabin. The back porch overlooked the creek. The kitchen was well stocked. We stayed in Maple cabin, great for 2 but imagine it would be a tight fit with more people. TV and WiFi were good, no phone, very spotty cell phone coverage. Extremely relaxing. Fairly close to bike path. Large grassy area for walking, volleyball, or just sitting around a fire. The temperature inside the cabin was somewhat difficult to regulate, and some traffic noise, otherwise great lodging.

The lodge was clean and had everything you need for a "glamping" trip! My husband and I stayed to do some biking at the Grand Canyon of PA. The location is perfect to get to the trail. The property is on a creek with fire pits and everything you may need. Clean is an under statement. It was spotless! We rented a cabin and it had everything you need!

We went in a large group of 5 families with kids. We rented lodge for one night and it was a spectacular visit. The quiet, peace, beauty of the area, pine creek flows right from the backyard. Its all so beautiful. The lodge was perfectly maintained. It was like living in a home rather than a hotel.
Property is beautifully. Owners were great too. They helped us to light bon fire even though it started to drizzle a bit :) Lodge has its own gas grill and we enjoyed barbecue right in our backyard.
I am planning to go back again in summers. This time I am going for night sky show in cherry spring state park. Can't wait to go back :))

A visit to Oak Cabin in mid-winter found us scurrying to the door to escape the freezing temps. As soon as we stepped inside, I knew this getaway was going to be special. The owner had prepared the cabin--Flames dancing in the propane fireplace greeted us, and we looked at each other and smiled.
So, more facts: one row of cabins set far enough apart to be private and yards from Pine Creek. We were in the last cabin, next to Maple, which was also a coZy one-story. Next time I want to try the Maple. And there will be a next time.
Nicely equipped kitchen, living room with sofa and surround deck outside, looked like a queen bed downstairs with a bunk overtop it. Upstairs a bathroom And queen bed.
The owner was quite nice to deal with: we could bring our dachshund for a small fee, and we got the two for one special--stay one night and get the extra night free because it was off-season. Right down the road were two excellent eating places--Old Antlers Inn and the Log Cabin Restaurant. Close to the Grand Canyon of PA.
This place is in a gorgeous setting and is isolated. If partying at Las
Vegas kinds of venues is not your style, but beauty, quiet, and having no strangers around is, this is your lodge in the woods. Don't miss out!

Room tip: I loved the oak cabin, but the bathroom is up the flights of stairs, so I'd do Maple next time. But the Oak was pretty large for a cabin.

Very rarely have I written a review but this exletienve was one I share. It was just marvelous. I stayed in one the cabins on the property. Just in need of a break. I read all the reviews. None of which could have adqueatly prepared me for the splendor of it all. It was comfy, it was cozy, warm, inviting and clean. I found myself going through the kitchen cabinets and drawers saying "omg" with just how well stocked it was. I made Lasagna, baked pies, made homemade biscuits, made my first seitan. Yeah it was a home away from home. So much so I didn't want to leave. And although the the facility is not staff, the hospitality of the owners wouldn't leave you to think that it's. City girl going into the woods, I had some concerns about bears. They even helped me with that. Just wonderful and am planning as I write this to return again.
