I grew up in the area, and was so excited to stay here for two nights on the way from NC to Niagara Falls. We could be on the walking trail for Presque Isle in a minute, and on beach 1 in a minute, it was so wonderful! We loved hearing the music from Sarah's Diner, and the screams from Waldameer when we were outside. It was a really special trip!
I didn't give this campground 5 stars because of the bath houses. We were surprised that we had to take quarters to pay for hot water, and the showers just never seemed clean. It is a tight squeeze to drive through and set up your RV, as there is not a lot of space for cars.
I would love to come back every year!More
