Checked out the various stands and eateries. Seemed that many of the vendors were selling items that were being re-sold at a profit to them. (Like the vendor that was selling past season Avon product, or the other vendor selling bath and body works soaps that looked have been discontinued).

Some of the food was alright, pretzel stand had a long line and I thought it strange that an 'espresso' I ordered had chocolate milk added to it. Go figure. Some of the bulk items were a bit pricey too and I've gotten better deals at Giant supermarket in their bulk section.

Free parking can be a bit confusing, but good spots can be found if you drive around a bit as people come and go constantly. You should also bring enough cash to get you through your visit because many of the vendors don't accept credit cards. Live auction added a change of pace, and some haggling can take place allowing for you to feel like you have gotten a good deal.

Our most recent visit was on a sunny, crisp November Friday. It is only opened on Fridays. The market, inside the buildings and outside, was bustling with many patrons--all friendly. We enjoyed several leisurely hours looking through the several buildings and the outside booths. Our main purchases were fresh produce, meats/cheese, and bakery products. Umpteen vendors to choose from. Everyone is pleasant. We don't live locally, but do enjoy visiting 2-3 times a year.

The temperatures were in the low 30s, so be prepared for the outdoor vendors not just the inside portion. The inside can be very crowded. Be sure to checkout the outside pretzel place. Worth the visit!

It was a very cold day but still lots of vendors with great selection and prices. I love the fresh cheese selection. The baked goods looked wonderful and very cheap. Don't miss this place if in town on a Friday, the only day they are open!!!
