The Hurst House Bed & Breakfast was a delightful experience! Beautiful clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and serene surroundings overlooking the fields of Lancaster! Bert and Rich are wonderful hosts. After returning from dinner, we were greeted by Bert at the door with "Welcome Home!" The Hurst House is definitely a home away from home.
We hope to return soon after the furniture we ordered arrives from Sensenig's Furniture. (A WONDERFUL furniture store with an amazing staff only 5 minutes from The Hurst House.) We drove 4 hours for the experience of Sensenig's and were blessed with a stay at the Hurst House!
Thank you, Bert and Rich!

Room Tip: All of the rooms have a view and are delightful! One room is handicap accessible and there is an elevator at the B&B!

This is a fabulous Lancaster County Victorian style B&B. The rooms have great views of the surrounding serene farm country, including the picturesque swimming pond on the property. Amenities include an elevator and a party/game room. The breakfast was delicious and the owners congenial.

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong with any room.

Stopped here for the last two nights of our mid Atlantic road trip. Great weather and biking. Caught Jonah at sight and sound and had some great food both at the B&B and around town. Tranquil setting. Able to watch the farmers working their fields from our window. Thanks Rich and Bert. Hope to return soon. Steve, Terry and Kate.

Great B&B, owners very nice and accommodated my schedule for breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay there again. Wonderfully decorated, beautiful view and comfortable accommodations. Game room in the basement, although I didn't utilize it. Snacks and coffee in the common room was a nice touch.

I do not think you will find a more elegant Bed and Breakfast.
We arrived at night. What a sight to see from the road. Looked like a castle sitting high on a hill. When we entered we were greeted by Bert and Rich who could have not been more gracious. I have never seen a more elegant home. Each room was decorated beyond exceptional. The wood work through out was beyond description. You have to see it to believe it.
Our room was decorated with details down to the smallest item.

Our breakfast could have been some what more substantial.
However, the elegance of the Hurst house is the experience to remember .
Would back again.
