This hotel and banquet facility is one of the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were too! Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful......especially when we checked in. Our bellhop brought us ice, took our bottle of wine to the bar for opening (and returned it to our room, of course) and even hung up our coats in the closet! Very nice touch....made us feel so welcome! Overall, the hotel is nice and quiet....there was some noise from party revelers as their wedding event winded down....but it didn't last long and we got a good night's sleep both nights that we were there (Friday and Saturday). With several weddings on the same day, the lobby and common areas do get a bit crowded but nothing that we couldn't handle. (And it was watching all the brides and their wedding parties!) The Farmer's Daughter was an excellent choice for dinner. the breakfast buffet was short on seating and very crowded but the food was adequate....even if not quite as hot as we would've liked it. Guess its hard to keep buffet food hot but not overcooked!

We booked two rooms for a recent wedding. My sons stayed in the main building and their room was fine. My husband and I were put in a "suite" across the parking lot. It was very difficult getting our luggage up the very narrow stairs to our room. The room was so musty smelling and the loud dehumidifier was constantly running. The room was very dated and awkwardly furnished. A huge main room with two chairs and a coffee table in it, nothing else. We were gone from the rooms from 9:00 to 4:30 and neither room was cleaned during that time. The cleaning staff came at 4:45 to our suite (never to my son's). I had to send them away because we were going to a wedding and trying to get changed. Breakfast was supposed to be included on each night, however no breakfast offered on Sunday, only a $30 brunch. This was strange considering the rooms were the same prices for both nights. We did have a wonderful time at the wedding and the grounds of the inn are pretty. I do think that it is very over priced for the area and is in need of some severe interior decorating.

Room Tip: Don't stay in the "suites across the parking lot", stay in main building.

Thank you providing feedback on your stay. The entire hotel was initially designed and furnished to fit the overall theme of the hotel. That theme has been updated slightly as we have just recently completed a FULL head to toe renovation of the main complex (including rooms, terrace, and conference center), the exterior suites are far more spacious and have additional in room amenities that are not found in the "standard rooms". Discussions of updating these suites are in progress. We do offer a complimentary breakfast every day of the week including Sunday. Monday through Saturday is a full hot buffet. Sunday (because we offer the extensive brunch through the restaurant) we offer a grab and go option with sliced fruit, granola bars, coffee, juice, and pastries. It is available from 7:30am to 10am in the hotel business center. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your event. Thanks again.

We booked a suite at the hotel for 3 nights. It was a downpour at check-in and there is no bell hop. One has to schlep bags through the parking lot to get to the suite. Upon arrival, the carpet was stained in the room. The headrest of the bed rested at the foot of a staircase to other rooms. Unbeknownst to us, the suite was located beside the HVAC system and a busy intersection. Vehicle lighting was prevalent as we tried to sleep. The room was noisy so we turned off the air system. After 2 hours of trying to determine the source of the noise, we were shocked to see a massive HVAC system outside our window. We were moved in the middle of the night, in the rain with no help, to another room, not suite. On the third night, after 11 p.m., a disturbance in the hallway erupted. Despite several calls to the front desk, nothing changed. The Police were called in and calm was finally restored. It took at least 15 minutes for the Police to get the situation under control. Hollering, running, shouting, etc. were clearly audible along with people banging on our door. During Police situations, one should never open the door. It was simply unbelievable that a hotel would allow guests to behave this way. Worse, Hotel Security was incompetent. There is very little staff to look after guests as the hotel focuses on large functions. Disgraceful guest services.

Room Tip: The main building is noisy and the Suites are filthy.

Normandy Farm made a huge mistake with the wallpaper selection -- a dark taupe grey color in the rooms and halls that makes it really dreary. Also, new carpeting still off-gassing chemical fumes -- the smell bothered me in the guest room, but was quite strong in the (semi filthy) stairwell leading down to the pool and fitness center. Cleaning staff were a little rude. They missed the 4 hour window when we were out of the room to come in and clean, and then were resentful when we were in the room at 3:15 -- said they were leaving at 4, so too bad. Apparently if you don't get your room cleaned before 4, it doesn't get cleaned. Free breakfast not particularly delish, but it seems to be included free with the room, so I can't complain. Best feature - lovely outdoor patio -- ideal for a wedding situation. And yeh, expect lots of very drunk and self absorbed millennials on prem for weddings. We were looking for an alternative to the Courtyard Marriot (we visit an ailing relative in a nursing home in the area regularly). Certainly the location is pleasant, in that it is not on a major highway. But for the same money, I am going back to the Courtyard Marriot.

Room Tip: Try to stay away from the new rooms with the taupe wallpaper and smelly carpet.

Three weddings going on. Drunken revelers running through the halls at 1:00 a.m. Our door didn't latch and they
We're trying room doors..came right in. Night clerk clearly did not care. This is a wedding venue and that is the priority.
