Description: In April 2013, after changing ownership, Blue Bell Inn closed its doors and underwent extensive renovation and redesign for over a year. In an effort to preserve historical significance, various aspects of the Inn were kept intact and enhanced through thoughtful restoration. An exposed rock wall from the original 18th century edifice was refurbished and is a focal point in the main dining room. Antique glass and old-fashioned bottles reclaimed during construction were repurposed into striking pieces of art throughout the restaurant. A more spacious floor plan was developed and quintessential indoor-outdoor spaces now encourage seasonal dining. New materials such as Italian porcelain tile, black marble and solid white oak were introduced to create a unique rustic-meets-modern ambiance. Today, Blue Bell Inn serves as a stunning architectural melange spanning three centuries.

The recent renovations , a few years ago now, have held up very well. The outdoor bar area is lively and beautiful. They make a great Manhattan! The menu selections were varied and delicious. Something for everyone. A tad pricey though....
Definitely will return

Ambiance is excellent. However, food is fair and very expensive. Biggest drawback, especially at dinner— extremely Loud! Probably better for a few drinks at the bar .

We have been going here for years.First at the old BB Inn, and to new one since it opened.

We particularly enjoy eating outside, weather permitting, and are will to go early to do that..

My husband especially likes the prime rib on Friday nights.

We were there several weeks ago before 6pm.It was apparently during happy Hour.

To our surprise there was now really loud music playing.

We could hardly hear ourselves talk to our friends,It took away some the enjoyment of the outside ambiance for me.

As I said, the prime rib is great so we tried it again 2 days ago and just assumed we would not be able to linger because of the expected noise.

.This time there was no loud music. The hostess said the young man did not always come..It was a beautiful night, and we enjoyed it much more chatting with our friends..

Perhaps that is not the popular view, but we do not need the music to add to our dinner experience.Usually pleasant conversation at dinner is how we socialize. ...sorry.

I had been to the Blue Bell many years ago (before the renovations) and enjoyed it. Still, I wasn't sure what to expect. I really enjoyed the atmosphere (we ate at the high top bar tables) and the food was excellent, although a bit pricey. I will definitely go back.

The best brunch in the continental United States I ever had was at the Blue Bell Inn on Easter Sunday.
Food was delicious, service was excellent and atmosphere was perfect. This will definitely be a place we come back to often.
