Description: "Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon…" Dalai Lama.At Nectar, our love for cooking is deeply embedded in that belief.Nectar, a sensuous, sumptuous, savory experience, features the Asian-inspired-French-infused signature cuisine of star chef Patrick Feury.Nectar's eclectically creative menu offers the perfect amalgamation of classic French cooking with the freshest, finest, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. From wild Alaskan salmon to Arctic Char to grass-fed beef to free range poultry to locally grown, hand picked organic produce; Nectar is committed to selecting what is best for our patrons as well as our planet. Our dedication to quality is captured in our extensive collection of wines, craft beer and fresh nectar cocktails. We assiduously pair the varietal notes in our wines to consummately complement our aromatic dishes.Such attention to detail is also illustrated in Nectar's architectural combination of artistry and urban beauty. Designed by the New York-based David Rockwell Group, Nectar showcases a bi-level, stone structure with vaulted ceilings that give room to a towering 18-foot silk-screen Buddha. Resplendent in His robed repose, the Buddha's radiance is reflected in Nectar's impressive interior. The dining room's inviting ambiance of fiery orange glows and warm, lemon yellow and chocolate brown banquettes delivers a kindred spirit to Nectar's distinctive menu.

I continually write for trip advisor and as it turns out, I was included in a group of six adults (6) who have partaken at "Nectar" previously..I was very impressed with the waitstaff (Utensil placed with the appropriate meal) and the attentiveness of serving at each course. (Appetizer,Dinner & Dessert) For Appetizer: Seafood Bento Box and edamame Dumplings (Spicy tuna & Salmon) + Salmon Sliders. Dinner included Scallops,Special Swordfish, Crispy Chicken & Stripped Bass. Desserts: Cinnamon Waffle, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Sandwich..>ALL OF WHICH WAS PLEASANTLY CONSUMED. This was NOT a RUSHED meal, but a leisurely and relaxed evening. When the bill was introduced , a tip was included (because we were a group of six) and I might add that I would have increased that amount, due to the excellent service. It is my intention to return and enjoy "NECTAR". I do hope that those who read this view-point will do the same.....

We rented the entire place for a holiday party, and Nectar was fantastic. Great appetizers, very fine food. The drinks flowed freely.

Good dishes on general pan-asian menu + sushi menu and bar. Nice decor and good service. A bit noisy and a bit pricey, but fun and very popular.

My wife and I tried this "Main Line" Restaurant one more time to see if the other reviews had any merit but this so called main line gem fails short on many levels. As a CIA graduate and James Beard award winner I can be tough to please but come on Nectar
$36 dollars for 10 small pieces of sashimi, $18 for a short pour glass of wine. Was it really necessary to cut one scallop into four pieces to add to the piece count
Fish was fresh but fell short of an entree....We left hungry and un satisfied. They have a fish czar that pre cuts all of the fish in morning to insure max profits while forgetting about value.
Service is okay at best and comes with a needless main line attitude
Nectar is a must visit if you need to over pay for an over hyped under delivered dining experience just to tell your friends where you were....I guess its a main line thing

We have been here several times and have recommended it to friends and family. We are never disappointed. From the ambiance to the service to absolutely wonderful appetizers and entrees, this is one of our absolutely favorite restaurants in Chester County. Perfect for a date night.
