Fish in the fish and chips leaves a lot to be desired. I think they are frozen fish sticks. The fries were good, but less good with the blob of puréed garlic plopped in the middle of them. Wife had the club sandwich which was actually pretty good. I had her other have to settle my stomach from the fish sticks.

The service was great, the food was good and the atmosphere was not bad. The resort's main restaurant was closed and I think we got better value at Mallard's as a result.

We had dinner here on a rainy evening and slow evening in the restaurant due to the season--certainly not because of the food quality or service. We had prime rib served by our waitress and the chef together! Excellent. We return for a very satisfying breakfast.

We'd walked by this place on a prior visit and decided to come back when it was open. It turned out to be an acceptable alternative for a casual dinner amidst a nice golf course setting, but the food was nothing most just ok. Our party ordered a burger, club sandwich, French onion soup, Cesar salad and baked potato plate. The soup was probably the best item, quite tasty, the rest ok, but worth a shot when in the area for atmosphere alone, as it's a small community with not that many options.

Well situated, overlooking the beautiful golf course, the pub has a nice firepace and attentive service.
