The room we were given was terrible. It had fake wood floors, no individual room heat control and it blew cold air all night. The bed was up against the wall making it difficult to get in and out of. Shower was small. Just felt we wasted our money and was totally not worth the money we spent.

Overall smell of room was a room that had previously been a smoking room and was now a non-smoking room. Those of us who never smoked can pick up on that smell in a heartbeat. Then there was the moldy smell in the bathroom. Nasty. There was no hot water, only lukewarm after running for over 5 minutes. The blanket on the bed was very thin, not providing much warmth, in addition, there was no coffee maker in the room. Don't bother stopping here. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Don't stop here. Find another hotel elsewhere.

very friendly and helpful clerk at the front desk. Very clean exterior property and quiet as well. For a Motel 6 this was an excellent property. This one is on the left side of Mc Ewin. There is also one on the right side but this is where I made my reservation. The room was nicely updated just like the majority of other properties in the chain. The major difference here is no funny odors, everything in the room worked and nothing was broken. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stumbled in late a little before midnight after being on the road for 5 hours. Tired was not quite the word. Exhausted.

After a quick check in process we went to our room - which was not just upstairs as we were told but just upstairs and the far end of the hotel. Ok thanks; we could have moved our car closer.

Our room stank like smoke - whatever to tired to deal with it. Then we spent the night alternating between shivering in the freezing cold room and super thin covers and staying awake in the loud, no way to turn off ac unit. We cranked it up to 80 - still froze because it was still cranking out cold air. Thin walls - we could hear the room next to us until about 3am.

Morning shower consisted of trying to cram into the tiny corner shower of basically a vertical stream of water that was impossible to shave in or get very clean. Water burned my skin off on cold. NOT short people friendly. Mini towels and no laundry sack.

I'm not sure if this place is trying to be trendy and completely missed the mark or what..:but $106 a night for no sleep and stinky, cold misery is no ones idea of a good time.

oh! Their online rate was $66, THEY REFUSED TO MATCH THEIR OWN RATE ONLINE, OR THEIR $84 SIGN RATE. So effectively don't believe any advertising you see. We ended up paying $106 for a half night.

Tried to talk to the desk girl in the morning (calmly no yelling), and she just kinda walked out in the middle so that was a bust.

Never again. Would never recommend to anyone, ever.

This hotel was a refreshing surprised. It was clean and comfortable and nice compared to the other motel 6's I have visited. The motel is convenient to portland and there are lots of restaurants and stores.
