Stayed here for 4 nights in May. As usual, I did remote check in, and the room was indeed ready. The front desk experience wasn't great however. As a gold member, I was not welcomed or recognized. I was asked if I had stayed before, and when i responded yes I imagine the desk clerk figured I knew everything there was to know about the hotel as i was not told anything about the hotel or services. My profile was not checked and I did not get a high floor as requested. The room was clean, no complaints there. Room 232 is at the end of the hall by the stairwell. Normally this is ok as there are fewer folks walking by. However, on the second floor you can hear the outside door slamming shut every time someone entered or exited the hotel by the side entrance. This was quite noisy. The last day we were there we did not receive housekeeping services. When I mentioned this at check-out, I was told that well, sometimes they miss.
The location is great and as far as traffic noise, is fairly quiet. Yes, you can occasionally hear a train but that was not disturbing. The grounds are well kept.
Mini-fridge in the room and microwave as well.
Not sure I would stay again. In 2016, the experience was much different.More
