Not only is there running water, clean bathrooms with flush toilets, and private showers, but the park host actually rakes the gravel. Also a very nice location next to the North Umpqua River.

This is probably my favorite campground in the US. Not kidding, it is exceptional. We haven't stayed there yet this year, but whenever we go to Oregon this is a must stop. We are actually traveling into NoCal this August and will be in striking distance of this BLM campground but can't justify the loop North given other obligations, Damn!
Truly, this is a beautiful, exceptionally maintained (largely by volunteers) campground on the bank of the Umpqua River just far enough outside Roseburg to be conveniently isolated. Some of the sites are reservable (highly recommended during peak travel season), but the most excellent site is #3. Last time we stopped there we were amazed to get it, but other campers actually pestered us about when we would be leaving (we added a day to our trip, not to annoy them, but because we could and it is so excellent) and actually they set chairs in the driveway to reserve it before we got up the day we left!
All sites are paved, many quite deep 30-40'; no hookups, but flush toilets and showers.
If you are in Central Oregon or on your way to Bend, do not miss the opportunity to stop here. There are many other campgrounds along the Umpqua, but nothing compares to this one. There is the Coast, of course, but not the same. The BLM is, and should be, proud of this gem.

Quiet and very comfortable campground. large areas to park and many sites to explore in and around campsite .We take weekend trips to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Only 30 to 50 minutes out of town.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever stayed at. The sites are large and scenic. We had one right off the river so we went to sleep with the sound of the creek in the background.

You can fly fish, go swim, bike or hike in this lovely location.

The restrooms are beautifully maintained and there are showers to clean off after a busy day.

I highly recommend this campground if you want to camp - if you are only able to stop for a while there is a day use area next door which will allow you to do all of these things without having to have a campsite.
