I reservered for only one night but I received such extra special care from Barbara,
the desk clerk, that I returned for another night.
The rooms were clean and comfortable but the service was spectacular!
The continental breakfast was a real treat, too.

Mom and pop place. Clean. Could use some upgrades due to age. Nice setting overlooking river. Barbara went ABOVE and BEYOND to welcome and help. She gave us a discount, suggested and gave us a restaurant menu, was over top kind. Loved chatting with her. Glad we stopped here. Nice to have mic, freezer in frig, and lots of breakfast options!

On Tuesday 9/17/20 my family and I had to evacuate our home in Talent, OR and make a run for it due to the devastating fires in our area! 3 adults and our cats and a very few belongings in a tiny Kia Rio heading north on I-5 and not a hotel room available until Roseburg 2 hours away due to so many evacuees! I had called so many hotels and motels and there was no availability anywhere!!! I began to despair until I reached the “Riverfront Inn”and Barbara answered the phone....She was AMAZING!! So kind and compassionate and assured us that we had a room waiting for us in Roseburg!! When we arrived completely exhausted and weary Lisa the manager and Krystal her lovely daughter welcomed us with open arms and even let us have our cats in the room with us since we were fire evacuees even though they normally do not allow cats under any circumstances! They loaded us up with food and even brought over clothes and toiletries because they knew that we had left with nothing! They were all so kind and thoughtful and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable! Our room was very nice and had a lovely view of the river (or as much of it as we could see through all the fire smoke) All of the housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well! We just had the most amazing experience staying here during one of the most difficult and terrifying episodes we’ve ever been through and that was totally due to the exceptional Warmth and kindness of the Riverfront Inn front desk and housekeeping staff with a special shout out to Lisa (the Manager), Krystal (her lovely daughter) and our beautiful guardian angel Barbara who secured a room for us when no one else would!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for all your kind support! We look forward to seeing you again the next time we’re in Roseburg!
