“Grassy mounds and a golden fountain.”
Review of Pettygrove Park

Pettygrove Park
Ranked #242 of 413 things to do in Portland
Reviewed 10 April 2016

Nestled between city buildings and walking paths, Portland has carved out a quiet place for apartment residents and office workers to find some green space. In the northeast corner of the park is a large "modern urban art" sculpture in gold leaf. The green grass mounds add a sense of rolling terrain in an otherwise flat area. The youth in the area had at one time found them a great place to make a path for jumping their bikes, but the grass has been reset and the green restored. Local business people and families find this a great place for eating lunch on a warm day.
