My husband and I were searching for a new place to eat an early dinner and saw the sign that said FRESH SARDINES on a little A-board sign outside a small restaurant. We both said, "Why not!" Otto (named after the owner's dad) is a small family run restaurant with excellent food. The menu is quite diverse from fried pork belly(witih a yummy potato and purslane brown gravy mixture to fried chicken with kimchee! There are also creative vegetarian option like the beet with veggies sandwich and beet borsch. My husband and I share five dishes and dessert and our bill was about $40, so prices are reasonable. We didn't order a full size entree which ran from about $11 - $16, but there are lots of small plates, salad and appetizer choice for much less. We highly recommend this place and if you are there at about 5 PM on a weekday there are lots of tables! Decor is retro 60-70s colors. Casual setting.
