Ate here our last night in Portland after multiple previous so-so restaurants.
Loved the open, bright, airy decor. Good wine selection but somewhat limited by the glass or carafe. Started out with the calamari with chili aioli and must say, was some of the best we've ever had - tender, perfectly cooked and breaded with awesome aioli that really complimented and enhance the dish. Followed that up with the dungeness crab spaghetti (had to try it) and my wife selecting the Pappardelle, which she loved. Her being second-generation Italian, that says a lot about the dish. Spaghetti was good, a little to 'seafoody' for me by the end but a worthwhile dish. Finished it up by sharing the Tiramisu Bombe with rum caramel sauce - it was the best thing of the night - shiny chocolate over a extremely light and subtly flavored pastry. Personally, not a big tiramisu fan (too much coffee flavor usually) but we fought over the last piece!
Great attentive staff and surprising overall inexpensive. Would definitely go again.
