This memorial is tucked away nicely in the forest area. The dropped belongings of victims littering the pathway up to the memorial sets an appropriate mood and I think readies people for the experience of witnessing the names on the memorial.

Thought provoking. It is so important to remember and memorials are a way to honor those who died and educate the next generation.

“A trribute to important People”
Reviewed 17 January 2012

The Memorial, set in Washington Park, offers a sacred place to reflect on the past and the future. The momument provides history and insight into the Holocaust and pays tributes to ALL victims. It also sends a message of hope for future generations to see how we exist as a nation beause of the ways we are all the same.

Tucked away in Washington Park near the Sacagawea statue and the iconic Washington Park reservoirs. A memorial to those lost in the Holocause whose families came to Portland.
