All the employees were friendly and very helpful. However, I nearly jumped a few times as conversations and weird noises elsewhere sounded as though they were in my room. I've never stayed anywhere with such paper thin walls. The heating made the room shake and I couldn't hear the person I was on the phone with, and the coffee is really terrible.
I stayed 3 nights and had a queen + room, which was incredibly tiny, with a view of a littered ledge and another building. It was rather depressing to be in the room. It pains me to write these details, as it's a lovely building and the staff was so wonderful. I hope they someday will sound proof the unbelievably thin walls. It would go a long way.More
