The hotel is in a central location near the Willamette River. It has most attractions within walking distance which is really great. The staff is wonderful and helpful. This hotel has only valet parking but there are parking garages nearby. My only criticism is that there are not enough common areas to sit in. The lobby is small and noisy for quiet time.

Good afternoon Fauzia T,

Thank you sharing your fantastic review. Just so you know, in the near future we will be having a little update that will expand our lobby as well as many parts of the hotel. Also please know on your following visit we do have the 2nd floor lounge area with comfortable chairs of 2 different sizes. If there's anything else feel free to let us know.

This is a wonderful location right in the middle of the city and only two blocks from the food truck extravaganza and should be a cinch for a winner. Unfortunately the experience was marred by: late housekeeping, premature closure of food in the concierge lounge and missing car keys and a failed handoff with valet parking. As I am a platinum premier guest, I can only imagine what it is like for the regular guest.

This hotel is a great opportunity for the right management team to make it work.

This is a great location and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are nicely appointed. There is so much to do and so many great places to eat within walking distance. Check out the Pearl District. Check out Pedal Bike Tours for a great tour if you like to ride bikes. Voodoo doughnuts is fun! Andina is excellent for tapas! The Powell Bookstore is also within a short walk - largest bookstore in the world according to their poster. Enjoy!

Hotel rooms are very nice and staff friendly. Good location for center of town and close to TriMax rail system. Bar on second floor is nice and bartender Bradley is great to visit with. Has workout center onsite. You can walk to several nice restaurants in the area.

We actually booked this hotel because of its location. We wanted to just park our car somewhere and walk for 3 days. It turned out to be the best choice in Portland for us. We got a room on the 20th floor (without asking for it), very spacious room and free fast wifi for Marriott rewards level. We parked in the garage, same building, entrance at the back. Cheaper than valet service. We used the tram too. Highly recommended.
