Breathtaking shoreline scenery/ beautiful flowers & plants/ sea lions, seals & eagles/ great location to begin an entire Oregon shoreline drive/ great food at reasonable prices at nearby eateries/ nice casino in nearby Lincoln City/ colorful wild flowers everywhere. As a first time visitor, I was very impressed with the various seaside vistas. I hope to do an encore, Oregon trip in the near future.

Such an incredible view from the balcony and pool area. Comfortable beds, cozy unit with everything you need. Lot's of stairs to the beach but so worth it. Tide pools, seals, agates, sea birds and going into the Devil's punch bowl! Beautiful hike through the forest to the top of the Devil's punch bowl and Beverly Beach. Drive into Newport and eat at Georgie's Grill - very tasty!

The tram has been out of service for at least 3 years.
The restaurant, which barely qualifies as that normally, chose to close during the corona gate time, leaving anyone who counted on that, to head ten minutes to town.

The beds are meh in the unit we rented, the shower broken, and so small that you had to hover the toilet or step into the shower to open the door.
The only thing saving this place that needs to be bull dozed, is the scenery.

Otherwise it peaked in the 90's and never tried to move past it.

I'll start by saying this hotel has the most BEAUTIFUL beach access point. After you climb down a mountain of stairs you find yourself in a paradise or what feels like a private beach. The property around this hotel is beautiful. There is tons of stunning wildlife to check out. Its hidden off the highway really giving it that hidden oasis feel. Our "sea view" room was only a half a sea view & had a road and the pool/hot tob blocking it, not to mention you have to share your balcony with your neighbor which I'm not very comfortable with especially since I like to sleep with the screen door open at night to listen to the ocean. The room however was over all not bad,it was clean for most part(lots of random hair and random dirty spots spotted through out the room). The room was very comforting and up to date with furniture EXCEPT the bed was BEYOND UNCOMFORTABLE. It was so old & used that as I was laying in bed with my boyfriend it felt like we were both on the side of a mountain(and no hes not a big guy). Over all the room was ok. The WORST PART...you have to park in the front of the hotel then either walk down hill to your room or wait for a guy with a golf cart to take you to it. It is NOT very disable person friendly. So minus all the extra exercise you have to do then not get a comfortable bed to sleep in, the hotel was good. Probably wont be a first choice for me but it was a good experience.

Booked a ground floor and included coments that must not have stairs. We checked in and parked. A electric cart met us at our car and drove us a long ways to our room. Then we discovered we had to go up two flights of stairs, which isnt possible.

We returned to front desk and were given what they said was a compatable room.

View was barely a peek abo, not what we had booked!

Blew a fuse using coffee pot and microwave at 7am. Front desk had to wake our neighbors for them to switch the fuse box.

Each trip to the car or back again cost us a $5 tip for the electric cart. Even going to the pool took an electric cart pickup, unless you are a mountain goat and can take endless steep stair cases.

Hot tub was nice and set for 104 degrees...only good thing about this hotel.

Dont have breakfast at their restauraunt either, was horible...but it is only open 3 days a week anyway.

Room tip: Much better hotels 7 miles south, dont stay here!
