The Chehalem Ridge Bed and Breakfast was to say the least the best place we stayed during our one week trip to Oregon. We were only able to stay one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was the Oregon Wine Country Room and was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom is large and the tub and shower were delightful. We sat on the deck and appreciated the quiet countryside and scenery. We even had a hummingbird come up close to us while sitting on the deck. The breakfast Kristen prepared was phenomenal! We sat on the porch looking out at the mountains in the distance. The B&B is located close to wineries and a great place to retire at the end of a day of wine tasting for a good nights rest. And then you wake up to Kristen's fabulous breakfast! We can't wait to return. Do not hesitate to book this B&B if you are in the area.

We stayed two nights at Chehalem Ridge, and we were very pleased! Kristin, the Inn Keeper, was very pleasant to deal with and her breakfasts were delicious with beautiful presentation! The breakfasts, along with the views we had, made this a very enjoyable experience! There were so many extra amenities that made this a comfortable place to stay- guest books where people could make restaurant recommendations, a lot of travel information in the common room, freshly made cookies for the guests, and a nice selection of wine for purchase at a reasonable price if in need of an extra glass, like we were! It was a nice place to stay at the end of our two week trip! We just wish we could have stayed a couple more days!

I have been thinking about our stay for two weeks now and decided to share "our" experience. My husband and I had booked two rooms at the INN for 3 nights. Part of our decision for this booking was based on the location and reviews. One room was for us and the other was for my mother. First, the property itself and accommodations were very nice. As several reviewers had sited, the views are amazing and grounds well tended. The beds are comfortable and rooms quiet (Rose & Wine Country- Upstairs). The breakfast items served each morning were delicious and creative. The location is perfect for visiting nearby vineyards, coastal area, quaint shops and local restaurants. All sounds good right.....here is the BUT...in all the B & B's I have visited, I have never experienced a host with such a curt, defensive, un-engaging personality. After several attempts to strike up pleasant conversation each morning, we all gave up. The imperious attitude and ungracious behavior exhibited from Kristen was to say the least, disappointing. Her imperious attitude is one we'd all have preferred not to experience. For this reason alone, I would not recommend or return. We did however experience a delightful, warm interaction with Kurt the one day he served us our breakfast.

Room Tip: Rose & Wine Country Room. The Rose room has better air circulation when opening the windows and...

We stayed here for a week in June while visiting Willamette Valley wine country and we are glad we did. The views were awesome, the room was great and the breakfast was something we looked forward too each morning. Our room (High Desert Suite) had a private balcony where we enjoyed relaxing in the late evening. The room was spacious and comfortable and we loved the views at night of all the lights below on the valley floor. The Inn Keeper was knowledgable and informative and had prepared materials if you needed directions or winery suggestions. I really enjoyed her sense of humor!

We had a wonderful vacation at Chehalem Ridge. Kristen was super helpful when booking our stay and answering our many questions. The home has the most wonderful view and the perfect balcony to sit and enjoy her wonderfully creative breakfasts. Those breakfasts were worth the stay alone. She is a wonderful cook and each day of our trip was something different and unique to enjoy. Even down to her wonderfully homemade jams. Kristen was great at giving us tips on what to do during our stay and had lots of useful maps and guides to help us along. She was a wonderful host and I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: If you can, get a room with view. The one without has a skylight which makes mornings start very ea...
