Owner description: DANCIN is a love story. It is the marriage of science and art. The pairing of delicious food and fine wine. And the sincere passion of Dan and Cindy. DANCIN is a family owned, artisan producer of Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Barbera and Port from a collection of three unique vineyards cradled along the forested foothills just above the gold rush community of Jacksonville, Oregon. Situated in the vineyard, and located just minutes from Ashland and Medford, our Tasting Room is the perfect setting to drink in the views of Table Rocks, Mt McLoughlin and the Rogue Valley while savoring our selection of fine wines, artisan wood-fired pizzas and much more, tableside! You are cordially invited to experience the genuine hospitality, community and relaxation of DANCIN! DANCIN was selected as the “2017 Oregon Winery of the Year” by Wine Press Northwest and shortly thereafter voted “The Very Best Winery of 2017” by Southern Oregon Magazine.

Relaxing and serene, Dancin lets you sip a flight of wine and enjoy the view. The design and atmosphere is like what you'd find in Napa.

The wood fired pizzas are good yet small for the price. Salads are standard. The landscaping and views are the best.

Go early as they serve on a first come basis.

We visited twice -once to share wine flights and find new favorites, and again to enjoy those favorites during a casual outdoor dining experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was upscale and relaxed. The pond/garden area was tasteful and relaxing, and the open air dining was relaxed and comfortable. We'd go back for a nice glass of wine or a relaxing dining experience any time. This is also one of the few vineyards in the area that is open past 4 or 5 PM, which allowed us to be more flexible in planning our day.

Beautiful place with full menu and outdoor and in seating. No tables available when we arrived so we went to the bar for a tasting. Cheating with the bartender who turns out to be the Dan from "Dancin" (Dan and his wife Cindy) and is an original from NJ so we made the NY/NJ connection! Very knowledgeable about his vines and wines. Settled on a couple glasses and we got a table. Stuffed mushrooms and the salad with capers to start were great followed by the "Drop the Beet" pizza with beets and fontina which was amazing!

Very good Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Excellent facility and staff. The little bites of food we had (mushrooms) were to die for. We bought a bunch of wine and signed up for their wine club. We don't normally react that way to a new winery.
