Stayed 3 nights. Bed was so comfortable. Motel has an elevator which was important since we can't use stairs. Has the usual amenities but no breakfast. The wooden floors are noisier than carpeted, especially in rooms above us. The two downsides are: there is no cart to wheel things to your room and the refrigerator freezes items because it is preset and there is no way to turn it down. Rooms were a nice size.

Really enjoy this hotel but must say the deluxe rooms are definitely the best and worth the money. We’ve stayed a couple times. Bummed they don’t do breakfast anymore like the first time I stayed. Nice room, great view.

My spouse and I wanted to do a short, affordable trip to the beach along with our 20 pound dog and found this just right. We rented a studio overlooking the ocean, where we could view the sunset as well as the harvest moon, which was breathtaking throughout the night until it sunk into the ocean in the early morning. Our room was clean and comfortable with a king bed, small table and chairs, flat screen tv, microwave and coffee pot, everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. We were pleased to be able to bring our dog for a $10 per night fee, as she seems to enjoy the beach even more than we do, and so many places are not pet friendly. The facility also has a pool and large outdoor hottub with a view of the ocean, and they offered fresh fruit and coffee in the office. One thing to note, the flight of stairs to the beach is very long and prohibitive for some; we found it good exercise, but others chose to view the sunset from the top of the stairs and drive to another beach. A festive crowd, including a few dog owners, gathered at the top of the stairs to watch the sunset the night we were there. The view alone was worth our offseason cost of $95 including tax and dog fee, and we'd happily return, possible bring our adult daughter and look at the larger rooms next time.

Room Tip: Location is off main road so relatively quiet; views are outstanding on all levels. A few top level rooms have small decks.

I highly recommend the Seahorse if you're looking for a night (day) of waves coming off the ocean with a nice fireplace for the cooler evenings. Its a bit dated but it adds to the charm. Unforgettable
