We stayed a few days to visit family. You can't be the location. Walk to shops, run around the lake, or just enjoy the view. The hotel is original construction (70s), but very well maintained. 2-bedroom unit had a full kitchen. Staff were very nice and accommodating.
Not that the hotel can do anything about it, but the train does go by about once a night, and is very loud. It was surprising the first night, but expected afterwards

When we come back, we'll definitely be staying here again!!

Room tip: High floor overlooking the lake!

Truly the only hotel in Lake Oswego that actually over looks the lake. The hotel is well run with a friendly and helpful staff. Our comfy studio had a king bed, microwave, fridge and dishes, silverware and plenty of glasses. We had a balcony overlooking the lake with walking trails and gorgeous scenery. It has an elevator or outside stairs.
The bathroom was small with a bit of a cramped toilet space, but that was the only minor issue.
Within walking distance of main downtown area with fun stores and good restaurants.
Free parking and close to a bus stop
Also has the best rate of any hotel we checked in the area. Most of the others are high rise hotels close to busy Highway 5.
We always stay here when we visit L.O.

Room tip: Our favorite it the 2 bedroom on the upper floor. Lots of room and great view.

The Hotel was clean, the room was delightful, The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The view of the lake was magnificent. A place I will definetly be going back to in the future. The area has neat stores to walkthrough and great reseraunts.

Room tip: Choose the lakeside view its worth the extra money.

Hotel had not been updated since it was built back in the 1970s. Property sat right on the edge of a lake which was awesome, but we could not even take advantage of the balcony because there were so many spiders and spider webs on it. The room we stayed in smelled extremely musty and I had to open all doors/windows to air it out. Had to put a blanket over the couch because it was so old the vinyl was cracking on it and scratched my legs. Important note: there is a freight train that rumbles through the town twice in the middle of the night (2:35 am and again at 6:37 am).

We are so sorry your stay wasn't what you expected. This time of year the spiders are very busy. Due to COVID, we are not able to provide daily cleaning service, otherwise, we would remove the spider webs each day. This winter the hotel is getting a refurbishment with new carpet, drapes, and sofas. We strive to have the cleanest rooms and will continue to work towards this goal. We sincerely apologize you were disturbed by the train. There isn't a consistent train schedule so we never know when it's going to pass by. Thank you for staying with us. We truly hope you will stay with us again in the future.

We live in Tigard and decided to crash her during a time our wood floors were being refinished. We had an awesome room and were very comfortable. There was space for everyone to stay spread out, unlike tour typical hotel room..We had a Kitchen, Livingroom and two bedrooms and 3 TV's. No issues with the wifi which was nice because we were there during the fires and my planned view of the lake was not there, but it was convenient for me to get to work and a comfortable place to rest..
