Thank you Elizabeth for our relaxing stay in the Catbird Suite. Your home is a reflection of your deep southern roots and charm.
You are a gracious hostess. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious southern-style breakfast and a morning greeting from your cute furry friends.
We felt welcomed and "at home" from Day 1. We look forward to our next stay!

WOW what an amazing little B&B. Down home southern charm in the Pacific Northwest with an asian arts and craft flair. The biscuits and grits are not to be missed! The only disappointment was that we could only stay one night. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I were visiting Eugene over the Christmas holidays and were told of this bed and breakfast by relatives as a quaint place to stay. We made reservations a couple of months ahead of time. Upon arrival our hostess, Elizabeth, greeted us at the door, provided a tour of the house and then settled us in our rooms. The house is rather large, set on several acres of land with a commanding view of the surrounding country side. The interior is clean, warm and inviting. It is somewhere you can totally relax and let the mayhem of everyday life wash right off you. The bed was very comfortable and the food was excellent. The first morning we were treated to scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, orange juice and home made biscuits. None of this is ordinary fare, the eggs are the best I have ever had and grits were out of this world. The other mornings were just as delicious as the first and always different. I could write an entire book on just this one place, but in the interest of brevity I will conclude that this bed and breakfast is certainly worth the visit and should be on your bucket list to visit. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the neighborhood (and even if you are not, it is worth the 9 hour drive from California). Elizabeth is a delight as a hostess and will certainly not disappoint you, she is charming, intelligent and very accommodating.

Beautiful setting, gracious host, yummy breakfast. Perfect "catbird seat" for bird watching. Quiet, restful. Elizabeth, the host, was full of transplanted Southern hospitality. House is full of tasteful and intriguing artifacts with stories to match.

I had the loveliest stay in this beautiful B&B. The large "suite" room had everything one could desire - a gas burning fireplace, a large comfortable bed, paraphernalia for bath and, of course appropriate furniture. Elizabeth has the charm and graciousness of a southern hostess, which she truly is. Her home is filled with gorgeous antiques, family treasures and games. I must also mention the view across the valley. I thoroughly enjoyed my one night there. Can't wait to duplicate this experience.
