We checked in June 6, 2019 for a 5 night stay. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing as the Clackamas Comfort Suites got more things wrong than they did right. We were told it was under new management/ownership, but regardless no one seemed to be in charge. There was a wait to get into the room upon check-in as room hadn't been cleaned. The WIFI, cable were down and the room phone was non-working, which I felt was a safety issue. The WIFI never worked, but eventually cable TV was available. Thankfully, our room was cleaned 4 out of the 5 days. Fifth night returned to an uncleaned room, sort of. The trash had been removed and bath towels had been replaced with pool towels. Beds not tidied, bathroom not wiped down. Not only did the lobby and public spaces reek of cigarette smoke, noticed the smell in our non-smoking room. Also, we noticed fresh cigarette butts right outside of the window on the pool area roof everyday. The breakfast area was a little on the sparse side, toaster wasn't working and it looked like the area could use a good wipe down. We did look into changing motels, but it was graduation weekend and that wasn't an option. Upon check out, manager at the desk agreed to give a credit. After several phone calls and a month later, credit finally showed up on credit card statement. Having stayed there in the past, I know they can do a better job. For the time being, I would not recommend staying here.

Our room was clean and a comfortable size for a family of four. Our space, however, stunk of cigarette smoke. The pool area was very dark, the lights kept flickering on and off. The sauna was broken. Additionally, a strange man with a gravelly voice sat in the lobby area for long periods of time and made inappropriate comments to my family.

Checked in at 11pm June 8th for a two night stay. Upon opening our door we found the rooom had not been cleaned since the last guests. No other rooms available. The desk clerk found clean sheets & made up the bed, took dirty linen away. There was no one available to clean the bathroom, etc. We slept there & in the morning found a bill under our door for $226.30.The A.M. desk clerk tried to be helpful but could not authorize a refund without calling a manager who finally returned her call. Most of the charges were reversed. Then we were told we did not have a reservation for the second night even though we had a confirmation # someone else screwed up. So off to complimentary breakfast & surprise no toaster! We were told it had broken & they had one on order!! How about buy one down the street? We have stayed here many times over the years. Obviously new management, untrained workers & going downhill fast!

Good beds, nice location (easy access), room AC worked, good breakfast, pets are allowed. What staff there was were trying to keep up. The list of negative issues is too long. Almost NO STAFF! No maintenance or housekeeping staff. Non smoking rooms smelled of smoke. Occupied rooms were reassigned to new guests. One guest was erroneously checked out of his room and all his belongings removed. Had trouble issuing key cards that worked. Leaky pipes in my room. Another family members room they couldn’t get the TV to work. My understanding is they had a recent management change.

No wi-fi for 4 days straight. No in room phone for 4 days straight! Andrew is a lire and look out for the in room safe that you will be charged a dollar extra for each day of stay!
Told I would be credited for the safe as there was no wifi. Instead saw on my visa I was charged the four additional dollars and even got the desk persons name Andrew L.
Maintenance at the motel was terrible! Old and dirty. I guess the bottom line at all costs is the manner of business.
Try another hotel!
