We had to come to Waverly, OH for a funeral and found the Comfort Inn. This is a nice, clean location, the beds were comfortable, there was a microwave and small fridge also. Nice staff too. Breakfast the next morning was good - nice selection of food. My only suggestion if you book here is to bring ear plugs - the train right across the street is LOUD at all hours of the night and day.

What a friendly hotel . Stayed here 3 nights as part of a tour group. A little out of the main shopping area but close to food outlets and Walmart. As you enter the lobby there is cold water, tea or coffee, m&m dispenser and warm cookies ! Large rooms with comfy bedding. An onsite washing machine and dryer, great little pool, spa and gym. The breakfast was well serviced and the staff were great. I would come back again.

We stayed for three nights. The room was comfortable for us. The free breakfast was good and being continuously refilled. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. I can't comment on other amenities as we didn't use any as that wasn't the purpose of our stay as we were there on a business venture.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and did not have train noise issues.

Checked into our room, (rented a suite), the toilet wouldn't flush, we found McDonalds trash (food) in one of the cabinets, the fridge wouldn't work (which I needed for medication), found Skittles candy in the pull out sofa AND for the coffee pot, we were given thin paper cups!
They increased the rates for that weekend because there was a big race there. We were there for a family reunion. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at!! Will never stay there again!

We stayed a night here as we were just passing thru. Everything was fine until the first train passed. The property is about 200 yards from a reasonably active rail right of way. To add to the noise there is a grade crossing directly across from the motel. This means that with every train passage there was an associated loud warning horn. All of this is through no fault of the property. As a general observation for Comfort inns. Even number rooms face the highway when the property parallels the highway. The only way I would stay at this property would be is I was able to get an odd numbered room. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean and fresh smelling. The wifi was adequate and the breakfast was pretty decent.

Room Tip: odd numbered rooms only.
