Perfect location for college tour. So close to the center of town and walking distance to Miami University. Clean room and up to date. TV could have used an upgrade but not a big deal. Rey nice lobby. Friendly staff, easy check in - we were able to get in early which was helpful.

Our son is starting his junior year at Miami U and we stayed at the Elms when we moved him off campus. This is a lovely hotel- it is clean, has comfortable beds, and a helpful staff. The location is what sets is apart. It is right in the heart of downtown Oxford and within walking distance of the university. We love that we can park our car and are able to walk for coffee, lunch or dinner.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our first campus tour visit to Miami of Ohio. We arrived Sunday evening, free parking is located on top level of city garage across the street. We were checked in by a very friendly woman, answered our questions on where to eat in town and also let us know things such as when visiting in the future if you want to book this hotel for BIG weekend such as Homecoming you have to do it 4 years in advance! Good to know if we do end up here, this seems to be the only hotel central to everything for the college. We walked downtown to the DuBois Book Store and also tried out Mac & Joe’s. Mac & Joe’s was recommended by my brother who attended Miami of Ohio he said to try the burgers with Mac n’cheese bites, they did not disappoint my son! Salads were HUGELY portioned and very tasty as well. If you have any room left for dessert there is the ever popular Graeter’s Ice Cream just down the street. The next day we walked to campus for our college tour of the university. This town is very walkable, very quaint and clean, hotel was as well. It is summer so I hear things tend to slow down a bit and there were absolutely no crowds, highly recommend staying here especially if you can snag a room to visit campus.

We stayed overnight in this hotel when visiting Miami University. The desk staff was friendly and the room was spacious. There were two queen beds, a couch and a kitchenette. The location was great. We enjoyed staying here while visiting Miami U. The restaurant was closed on Sundays, but BW3 was open late. Parking is across the street in a parking garage.

A popular weekend stopping-off place for visitors (parents to students?) to nearby Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. It's a moderate-price small town hotel without small-town charm but all the conveniences of a chain hotel (like Hilton Express, for example). Check-in is warm-and-friendly but in both my last two visits the reservation was screwed up ~~ not a great start to a long w/e and REALLY problematical if they're fully-booked. The lobby is two-level including a meeting area ~ useful if you're part of a group, for example. Lobby has a slim continental b'fast which is promptly removed early on w/e mornings. Parking is over-the-street in a multi-level & free.
