Great learning and great fun. Inexpensive but priceless. My five year old grandson and three year old granddaughter were kept occupied for two hours and then didn’t want to leave.

The SPI spot locatated just off the river in downtown Mt Vernon is a science place for children of all ages. My granddaughter goes every week and cannot wait to play with the many teaching stations in the building. Ver affirdable place for parents, grandparents, and children to discover the science side of all our lives. Moon station, sandbox where you can make rain, climbing tower, animals, microscope, pressure gauges, magnets, chalk, Indian tee pee, and much more. This is a must join,

They have a newly remodeled building that’s much better than the old location. Our great nephews and nieces enjoyed visiting the new place. There is more activities to do. You can plan to spend 60-90 minutes their.

This is a really imaginative and exciting place for a child. It has physical play with climbing frames which need to be explored to find the way up. It has lots of stations with interesting activities including building marble runs, fuzzy felts, a geological table and varieties of blocks and bricks of all sizes. It also allows children to build circuits, explore aerodynamics and build all kinds of things. It is an excellent afternoon. It entertained a 3 year old and a five year old. It is excellent value for money.

Learn about science and how things work with the whole family! Play in the sand, build with Lego bricks or slide down a slide. Lots of interaction and learning going on inside these walls. Located in the old Buckeye Candy Building (Wright Center) near the viaduct. Closed on Wednesdays.
