I recently took part in one of the Food and History tours offered by Walk Eat Mount Vernon. What a great experience! While I’ve lived in the area for over 20 years, it was amazing how much I learned about the town. The main focus however was the food. We visited a half dozen restaurants in the downtown area and I was quite impressed by the burgeoning culinary scene. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. A word of advice, arrive hungry, you’ll come away quite full. Highly recommended!
