What a wonderful facility! It is designed for children with special needs but enjoyed by kids of all ages. There are excellent activities that encourage interactions between old and new friends. It was a great experience for everyone!! Congratulations to Mount Vernon for this special playground!!

As I was taking my family to this park one of my kids said, "Is this the playground for people with disabilities?" I told him, "Nope, it's the playground for all people!" And it truly is!

This beautiful playground nestled in an amazing park area with nearby walking/cycling paths is worth traveling to for a day out. Check out the QR codes on each unique piece of equipment that will tell you all about how it meets the needs of children of all ages and abilities. The smooth walking surface is great for those who have a balance issue or who use crutches or wheelchairs. Fun for families and kids of all ages, even those who aren't really kids anymore! Find your inner child at Harmony Playground!

Attended the ribbon-cutting for this brand new playground today. It was amazing watching the children of all ages and sizes, some with disabilities and some without, and their parents also, enjoying the many cool pieces of playground equipment designed to be both accessible and in inclusive at this park. Even though it officially opened today it has been open to the public for a while and I was told people have been visiting and enjoying the playground from places an hour away. The community pulled together to raise funds for this gem and it looks like it will be well used.
