We had a late lunch buffet here. The chicken was delicious as was the beef. Instant potatoes and packaged gravy were so so. The noodles were also delicious as was the corn. There was a nice salad bar to go with it. We would eat here again!

While visiting the Millersburg, Berlin, Walnut Creek area on a shopping excursion we had to have dinner at Mrs. Yoder‘s kitchen one evening. My wife and I both choose the buffet and neither of us were disappointed with the broasted chicken and sausage being the two biggest hits on the menu for us that kept us going back for more.

You can order from the menu here, but why? The real deal is the buffet, with more than a dozen salads & appetizers (mustard or beet hard boiled eggs! Rhubarb gelatin!) Fresh local veggies used. Move on to the hot buffet, where folks are “almost” polite as they grab for the broasted chicken (a special process to cook chicken, not roasted or fried); fresh green beans; German noodles; dressing more than worthy of any Thanksgiving; grandma’s pot roast; so much more. The misses are so rare: the broccoli chicken rice casserole was overly salty, and the special blue gelatin and blueberry dessert, with a Cool Whip and crushed pretzel topping was a waste of fresh blueberries. Leave space for the homemade bread brought to the table, with peanut butter spread & apple butter to add. Great pie, fresh fruit & others, under $3 a slice. Many customers appear to be Amish; Amish & perhaps Mennonite servers & staff; separate buggy parking. If I lived close I’d be here once a month for sure! Just stick mostly to tried & true.

I recommend you stop in at this buffet restaurant and fill your plate and your tummy with great food. The service was good, too.
