Set roughly 20 miles southeast of Cleveland in Moreland Hills Flour serves up traditional and innovative Italian food.

Our waiter, Alban, was great. Pleasant, very helpful with menu suggestions and answers to our questions, he set the tone for what would be a wonderful evening for our party of four.

For our wine, we settled on Row 503 Pinot Noir. In turn, our party ordered the Calamari (lightly dusted and fried), Cauliflower Soup, and Prosciutto salad as appetizers. All were very good. Our dinner choices were Cacio E Pepe (two of us ordered this), Tagliatelle, and Pappardelle (the bill total, excluding gratuity, was $158). Each plate was excellent.

The ambiance is lively with a festive feel.

We'll be back.

We enjoy Flour for the lively bar scene, delicious food and great drinks. Although the menu isn’t large, it changes seasonally and always has homemade pasta. Flour also has tasty salads, fish dishes and crispy thin crust pizzas too. If you are looking for a place to enjoy good food and wine, you can’t go wrong with Flour.

The 7 of us had a superb server and delicious dinners. The airline chicken and corn polenta was fantastic, perfectly done. The Caesar salad with shrimp was well dressed and excellent. We loved the bread with oil, cheese and red pepper and had a few baskets. The eggplant-balls are amazing and my vegan companion loved them. The Chanterelle mushrooms were on many of the specials as well as the pizza one of our guests ordered and each dish was enjoyed. The wine menu is superb. I had a vodka martini which was shaken and cold...lovely. The only disappointment is that they no longer serve the mushroom bolognese sauce. We will return!

Always enjoy and know what to expect. Pizzas are delicious. Service, whether in at the bar, a table in the bar area, or the main restaurant, always impeccable.

Bustling atmosphere for sure and definitely crowded. Nice modern style atmosphere. Our server was covert friendly and attentive. Place was really hopping so the kitchen got backed up and delivery of our entries was slow. They recognized this and comp’d us desert and a glass of wine which we appreciated. We ordered caesar salad which was crisp and tasty. My wife ordered a funghi pizza which she really enjoyed but had too many onions on it so she took some off. I had the lamb sugo with rigatoni. Sauce was very good but would preferred more of a ragu with the lamb more prominent. Nice wine list and selection of Italian wines by the glass. All in all, it was a very good dining experience.
