Our hiking group stayed here for a weekend in mid-May. The cabins were better than we had thought….very clean with modern kitchens and pantry, living room, large screened-in porch with picnic table and gas fireplace, flat screen TV. My one room-mate had a hard time sleeping on the twin bed because the mattress was too hard for her comfort level. Even though the weather was really cold for this time of year, the cabin was toasty warm. Our cabin #21 was on the cul-de-sac and very private, backing up to the woods. We were only minutes away from the dining lodge and all the great hiking at the State Park. Although there are plenty of cabins in Hocking Hills that are more luxurious (hot tubs, etc) you can’t beat this location and price. We paid $105 for a 2 bedroom. There is also a fire ring by cabin #11 and we enjoyed a nice evening outside toasting marshmallows.

Room Tip: Get a cabin by the cul de sac if possible.

We have stayed for our advanced group of students for 3 nights 2 cottages.I m not sure how old the beds but Mattresses are very uncomfortable. I had a back pain when I woke up.I saw they renovate some of the cottages. I hope they can finish all cottages soon. The nature is great. It is a Must see place. We have request the clean towels and sheets .They said they will send it to cottage but they did not.

Room Tip: Ask renovated cottages.

We stayed in cabin 25 for two nights. The beds were awful; like sleeping on a board. The cabin itself was quite nice and had everything we needed for a weekend visit. Loved the screened in porch and the food at the lodge was very good. The location was perfect and it was reasonably priced. We visited all six attractions and enjoyed everyone of them!

we just stayed here and we had three cabins lined up for our family trip. all of them had huge spiders in them. I am not exaggerating when I say huge. if they would spider bomb their cabins I might stay here again but not likely because of that one reason. other than that it was a great place and the restaurant/lodge had great food especially the pizza

We've stayed at several Ohio state park cabins at Punderson, Mohican, Buck Creek and now Hocking Hills so we knew what to expect. There are many nicer pet friendly cabins in the Hocking Hills area but none available the weekend we needed and all are significantly more expensive. We stayed in cabin 3 which is pet friendly (and smelled slightly pet friendly). It was run down but clean and comfortable. The fireplace was a nice amenity since it was 40 degrees. The setting is gorgeous. The cabins are close to the lodge where we had a great dinner. They are also 1/4 mile from Old Man's Cave. There were close by trails and a playground. The cabins have a full kitchen with all the utensils for simple meals and a nice screened in porch facing the woods. Overall, it was fine and cheap.
